Leslie Donato

Leslie Donato most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cencora from 2019-2024. Prior to Cencora, she held leadership roles at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals from May 2009 to June 2019, and began her career at McKinsey, where she was a principal in the healthcare practice and spent 14 years advising executives at top-tier pharmaceutical, biotech, and other healthcare companies.  

Outside of her corporate duties, she serves on the board of Elusa Health, which provides customized HUB services to the pharmaceutical and lifescience market, since 2025, Virtua Health System, a nonprofit health system in southern New Jersey, since 2022, and RIS Rx, a healthcare technology company, since December 2025. She has also served on the boards of One Oncology from 2023 to 2024, and Edmund Optics from 2019 to 2022.  

Ms. Donato holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction (Economics and Public Policy) from Swarthmore College, and a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Healthcare Management) from Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. Her qualifications to serve on our Board include 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and broad expertise across strategy, corporate development, global marketing, commercialization, and new product development.
